I made this cork board for Jordan’s room. Her room colors are purple, lime green, black. Zebra print is also a favorite of hers.

Things you will need to make this:

• 6 Cork Boards
• Hot Glue
• Fabric of your choice (I used looong pillow case. One side was zebra and the other was purple)
• Ribbon
• Foam Board ( You want it to be sturdy)

If you want to add ribbon, now is the time to do that. Wrap the ribbon around the cork board and glue it onto the back.

Now that the panels are made, glue or velcro them to the foam board. Now hang it where you want it. Jordan is using it as a headboard.

Alexis has been out of town for a week now. She was supposed to come home last night. I really miss her, but I know she is safe with her best friend and her family. From what I hear, the planes took a beating.  So, I am waiting patiently (errr) for flights to get back to normal.

My other kids were in school. I was so worried that Logan was gonna freak out with all of the craziness. He said he was scared but they got to go into the bathrooms. So, I guess it was fun for the kids to huddle up together. Hey, who doesn’t want a break from learning.

Jordan has always been scared of bad weather. She’s the first one who wants to jump in bed with me when it’s thundering or lightning. However, she was fine. It was hard for her to get into a ball on the ground with her big ‘ol chunky boot on (she’s got an ouchy). So, they let her lay under one of the tables.

I guess mommy worries a lot. What do you except, they are my babies.

My family and I are safe. I am keeping all of the families out there who have been affected by the storm in my prayers.
